WWR001 – “Marcel” short story by Ryan Woods, 2nd edition – $3.50 mailorder/$4 PayPal
Many of you may know Ryan as the bass player for Defiance, Ohio and Pink Houses, or for his acclaimed artwork. Here, he gives us his first short story, about Jack Spent, a teenager from Tell City, Indiana, and his attempts at reanimation. It is a heartwarming story, at once fantastical and entirely relatable, about the fragility and beauty of life.

WWR003 – Pink Houses/Snarlas split 10″ – $10.00 mailorder/$10.75 PayPal
Pink Houses is a Bloomington, IN based three-piece grunge band, featuring Ryan Woods from Defiance, Ohio. They are heavy, loud, long-haired, and unlike any band you’ve heard. Snarlas is based out of Athens, OH, and features punk veteran Cindy Crabb, who you may know from her exceptional zine, Doris. Their songs are characterized by fast, driving bass and drums and duel sing-a-long vocals that make you want to listen on repeat all day.
This is also a split release with Shout Out Loud Prints, from Columbus, OH. Check them out here!

Coming Soon:
WWR004 – “On Moving and Standing Still” 12″ by Toby Foster
Toby has been touring extensively for three years, but “On Moving and Standing Still” marks his first true full-length recording, with 12 folk-pop songs about interactions between people and their community, wavering relationships, and growing up without giving up. Also available on CD and cassette from his website.
WWR005 – Letters 12″
Letters is the rock and roll manifestation of what was once Letters to the Moon. This Columbus, OH (and Bloomington, IN) four-piece features the songwriting of Ryan ”Ryan J.” Eilbeck (Delay, Lose the Tude), with harmonies from Lisa “Lisa D.” Dorazewski. They are backed up by Richard Wehrenberg Jr. and Ryan Starinsky (The Sidekicks, Slugging Percentage, Amelia), and the band delivers a diverse record that is full of pop sensibility, but with unexpected modulations and chord changes that really show the collective talent that Letters has to offer.
